Experience

Nausheen is an Associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. She focuses her practice on the defense of healthcare providers and facilities in medical malpractice, professional liability, and general litigation.

Prior to joining Kiernan Trebach, Nausheen worked at a business litigation firm in Washington, D.C., where she represented government agencies, corporations, and nonprofit and charitable organizations in a broad range of trial and appellate matters.

During law school, Nausheen was an active member of Chicago-Kent’s nationally-ranked Trial Advocacy Team and President of the International Moot Court Honors Society. She also served as President of the Health Law Society and regularly volunteered with pro bono organizations, including Pro Bono Project and Legal Aid Chicago.
