Experience

Maria is an associate in the firm’s New York office, practicing in the  areas of premises liability, dram shop liability, negligent security, product liability, property damage, labor law, and sexual abuse cases. She has represented numerous businesses in the hospitality industry (including bars, restaurants, and nightclubs), sporting venues, recreational facilities, and religious institutions.

Maria has extensive experience conducting and defending depositions, drafting both discovery and dispositive motions, appearing for court conferences and arguing motions. 

Earlier in her career, Maria worked as an associate at a litigation defense firm focusing on sports, recreation and entertainment matters. 

During law school, she was Co-President of the Italian Law Student Association and was awarded the Dean’s Award for Student Leadership.

Maria speaks conversational Italian and Spanish.

In her free time, Maria enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and her dog, Gigi.
