Experience

Helen is a Partner based in the Washington, D.C. office with over 19 years of experience litigating cases in both state and federal courts.  Helen has successfully represented businesses and individuals in disputes involving construction/design defects, construction related accidents, products liability, premises liability, commercial trucking and transportation, automobile claims, intentional torts, and general negligence matters.  Helen has also represented medical professionals in medical malpractice claims and professionals before state regulatory boards.  Additionally, Helen is experienced in insurance, contract, and other commercial matters, as well as in personal injury, professional errors and omissions, and professional malpractice disputes.  

Prior to joining the firm, Helen worked for an insurance carrier, investigating accidents, preparing insurance policies in compliance with state laws and advising regional offices regarding proper claims handling.
