Experience

Chris is a Partner in the firm's Washington D.C. and Virginia offices. He has forty years of experience litigating matters in the areas of medical malpractice and other professional liability, product liability, construction litigation, employment discrimination, premises liability and contracts.

Chris has been lead trial counsel in well over a hundred trials in state and federal courts in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia and has argued numerous appeals. Prior to joining the firm, Chris was Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs for ADP Integrated Medical Solutions, a division of Automatic Data Processing, Inc., a Fortune 500 Company. He is a court-appointed mediator for the United States Court of Appeals and District Court for District of Columbia. In 2006, Chris was named D.C. Defense Lawyer of the Year.

After graduation from law school, Chris served as law clerk to the Honorable Joseph M. Hannon, Associate Judge, Superior Court of the District of Columbia from 1979 through 1980.
