Experience

Anna-Marie is an associate in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining the firm, Anna-Marie worked as a law clerk for the Honorable John M. Tran in Fairfax County Circuit Court. This experience allowed Anna-Marie to gain firsthand insight into substantive and procedural legal matters. During her yearlong clerkship she gained valuable insight into civil and criminal matters.

During law school Anna-Marie practiced as a student-attorney in the Criminal Justice Clinic, served as Student Bar Association President of her law school, was an active member of the Black Law Student Association, and actively volunteered with numerous welfare organizations in the Lexington, Virginia area.

Anna-Marie was born in Malawi, Africa and raised in the Philadelphia, making her an avid Eagles fan. She enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and ordering the most obnoxious drink on the menu. She currently resides in NoMa with her most expensive friend, her Yorkie Louie.
