- Summary judgment granted in favor of our client (an arena operator) on claims made by a concert attendee for damages resulting from alleged slip and fall on liquid based upon uncontroverted video, testimonial and expert evidence establishing that arena employees did not have a reasonable amount of time to remedy or warn of the alleged condition.
- Summary judgment grant in favor of our clients ( a concert promoter and performer) dismissing claims of inadequate concert security.
- Defense verdict at trial on behalf of a theater accused of building code violations causing injury to plaintiff, where plaintiff’s intoxication was an issue at trial.
- Successfully resolved claims of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligent hiring, training and supervision on behalf of a men’s professional soccer club.
- Assisted in enforcing an indemnification agreement between a men’s professional soccer club and its general contractor, facilitating resolution of a significant personal injury claim without contribution from the soccer club.
- Obtained summary judgment on behalf of an National Football League team and its punter, in a negligence case initiated by a spectator who was purportedly struck in the face by an errant punt, seeking damages against the team, the punter, and the league.
- Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a National Football League team in a case initiated by a spectator, who was allegedly injured during an altercation with a contractor working at the stadium. The court found that the contractor was an independent contractor and therefore the team was not vicariously liable for any alleged negligence by the contractor.
- Obtained summary judgment for the owner and operator of a convention center on a premises liability claim initiated by a contractor who purportedly fell and sustained serious injuries.
- Successfully resolved a serious personal injury claim by a contractor who was allegedly electrocuted, while setting up a vendor site at a convention center.
- Successfully resolved a complex personal injury claim brought by a disabled patron who was allegedly thrown from her wheelchair by an employee of a convention center.
- Obtained dismissal of a lawsuit initiated by a player on a men’s professional soccer club where the player claimed personal injury and medical malpractice arising from a concussion that was allegedly not properly diagnosed or treated by the team’s physician.
- Successfully resolved a personal injury claim on behalf of the owner and operator of a men’s professional soccer club team and stadium where a patron claimed to have been injured by a security guard.
