Experience

Ashim is an Associate based in the firm’s Virginia Beach office.

Prior to joining Kiernan Trebach, Ashim completed a fellowship while working within the Office of Legal Affairs for a non-profit health system. His work within the Office of Legal Affairs focused on: (i) regulatory related issues; (ii) Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws; (iii)
Operating Agreements; (iv) non-profit related issues; and (v) tax related issues.

During law school, Ashim was a member of the Business Law Society, the Environmental Law and Policy Review, and had coursework centered around Business Law. Moreover, Ashim gained practical experience during his time in law school as a: (i) Law Clerk for an
international immigration law firm; (ii) Summer Associate for a boutique law firm focused on complex class-action antitrust litigation; and (iii) extern within the legal department for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.
