The plaintiff in this case alleged that our client, a physician at an urgent care center, failed to properly treat him for pneumonia. After leaving the urgent care center, Plaintiff was later admitted to an ICU with a diagnosis of viral pneumonia, and he required ventilator support for weeks. After he recovered, Plaintiff filed suit against our client in Delaware County, PA.
Thanks to the hard work of George and our team, the evidence clearly demonstrated that Plaintiff’s diagnosis of viral pneumonia was accurate and that his illness was therefore not subject to treatment via antibiotics or other care that our client could have provided. The jury therefore concluded that there was no causal link between our client’s conduct and Plaintiff’s alleged damages – and a defense verdict was entered.
