Experience

Jim is based in the firm’s Philadelphia office. He joined the Firm in 2004 to establish the Philadelphia office. He has extensive experience litigating and trying personal injury matters in the areas of construction, construction defect, elevator construction and maintenance, premises liability, product liability, transportation, medical malpractice and toxic torts. 

A substantial portion of Jim’s practice involves representing self-insureds, including manufacturers of televisions, machinery, product line equipment and propane tanks and cylinders.  Jim also represents several national companies including a janitorial company, an elevator company, a security company and a construction company.  He has also represented physicians who practice in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, radiology, orthopedics, family practice, urology and otolaryngology in medical malpractice claims. 

While attending law school, Jim served as a Legal Intern for the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting criminal matters, both misdemeanors and felonies, at the preliminary hearing stage.  Upon graduating from law school, Jim took an associate position with a Philadelphia litigation firm where he later became a shareholder.
